Rich, Debbie and their kids came up for a visit this last Thursday. Of course the kids had a blast and we actually had nice weather so they could play outside a little. We BBQ some burgers and chicken and had a good time. We also, as you can see with the photo above agreed to get tickets to the Foo Fighters for this July. So Mom and Dad, would you like to come down for a visit and watch the kids while we all (Rich, Debbie, Molly and I) go to the concert?? For those of you who don't know Rich and I and I think Debbie are really big fans. I think they're the only good real rock band left now. Anyway I'm really excited to see these guys...it's been a long time since I last saw them in concert. No better live BAND out there, but I could use a little more cow bell!
Other than seeing Rich and Debbie the rest of the week was pretty much the same as always, work, school, work and the like. I have the pleasure of speaking in church this Sunday and will probably start thinking about it late tonight! The sun is out here so I'm going to try to play some baseball with Caleb. I got him some new cleats and practice pants so he's ready for tee-ball here come the end of March. Riley or dad if you read this (I'll probably call as well) Molly and I might go skiing Tuesday. It's supposed to be 55 degrees and sunny in Portland so it should be spring time conditions on Hood. I could get you that 2 for 1 deal? DO IT!

Ummm, I totally love the Foo Fighters and would love to go to their concert as well. I've had the song "Home" from their new album playing over and over on my playlist. That's fun that you guys got to hang out and BBQ with Rich and Deb. I'm lovin me a little sunshine. We signed Kendle up for tee-ball too and it will be interesting to see how I can juggle her games, Tam's games, and Riley's games. Fun times.
I could probably arrange something July 10th. Depends if I am working or not! I like the foo fighters too but can't stand crowds anymore! I am getting old!
We are PUMPED to see the Foo! Rich made me a Foo Fighters CD for my birthday and I LOVE it! Thanks for getting us the tickets. We'll get you the $ we owe you ASAP - could you e-mail me your address? I'm sure we had it at one point but I cannot seem to locate it. So fun to see you guys. Zack and Maelin had a ball with Caleb and Alia. Wish we lived closer...

it is now 11:19 p.m. Saturday night and I finally have a chance to start planning my talk for tomorrow. Since I can't keep my eyes open, I think I will just have to create a 10 minute testimony and hope for the best. Of course most of the members are just glad it is me and not them so I suppose they will have to be happy with what they get. Hope yours goes better.
